Matthew Burrier has been active as a performing artist since 1981. He degreed in music at the University of Iowa and has studied a wide variety of styles and genres within classical, jazz, folk and ethnic realms. He has performed around the country as an instrumentalist, improvisor, guest conductor and composer. Matthew has composed and arranged over 100 anthems and songs for sacred and secular purposes several of which have been recorded and or published.
