Matthew Burrier is available for corporate seminars. His friendly and entertaining approach to music is an excellent break in any long day of seminars and classes. Your employees will learn how music is connected from one era to another. This interesting seminar gets people thinking about how their profession has progressed and how the basics of the past have been transformed into contemporary standards.

Whether your group is highly technical or is mor people oriented, this seminar will get them thinking in a new and different light. Matthew calls it a seminar sorbet, as the presentation is intended to clear and refresh your mind getting you ready to absorb new material.

Matthew also has a number of academic seminars and approaches. His high skill level in many genres of music allow him to show the connections between baroque and jazz or Chopin and improvisation. Matthew will work with instuctors to design a class that will not only educate but inspire aspiring artists.

Matthew Burrier has been active as a performing artist since 1981. He degreed in music at the University of Iowa and has studied a wide variety of styles and genres within classical, jazz, folk and ethnic realms. He has performed around the country as an instrumentalist, improvisor, guest conductor and composer. Matthew has composed and arranged over 100 anthems and songs for sacred and secular purposes several of which have been recorded and or published.
